Hatching Egg Orders:
- All hatching eggs are sold as preorder items. Orders are filled in the order they are received to ensure each customer receives the freshest eggs possible.
- Most orders are fulfilled within 2–3 weeks, depending on egg availability and production. Because egg production can vary, availability may fluctuate throughout the season.
- Please ensure you are able to receive eggs within the 2–3 week fulfillment window before placing your order.
- Once an order has been placed, we do not offer cancellations or refunds. The only exception is if we are unable to fulfill your order within the current shipping year, in which case a refund will be issued.
- Please provide a reliable email address and phone number at checkout. These will be used to communicate important updates regarding your order.

Standard Shipping - $25.00 : Ideal for single dozen orders and customers in Alabama and surrounding states.
Orders will ship via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, depending on which service offers the fastest delivery to your location.
Upgraded Shipping - $45.00: Required for orders of 2+ Dozen. Recommended for customers located farther from Alabama. Orders will ship via UPS (Ground or 2-Day Air) based on which option provides the best transit time and handling conditions.

Shipping Disclaimer
- After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please email me if you do not receive your confirmation email.
- Once your eggs have been packed and shipped, a shipping notification will be sent with your tracking number so you can monitor transit and plan to receive your eggs promptly.
- Please keep an eye on your email around your estimated ship timeframe, in case your tracking notification is marked as spam. If you do not see your shipping email, feel free to reach out and I’m happy to resend it.
- Hatching eggs are shipped Monday through Wednesday to help prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend.
- Orders are carefully packed in foam shippers and double-boxed to provide maximum protection during transit.
- Each shipment includes two complimentary extra eggs when available.
- Shipping rates are flat-rate per box and include packaging materials and handling.
- We currently ship within the continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or internationally.

Shipping Disclaimer
- Once eggs leave our farm and are in the possession of the shipping carrier, their handling and delivery are outside of our control.
- We do not issue refunds or replacements for eggs that are damaged in transit or that fail to hatch.
Local Pickup:
We are happy to offer in-person pickup for those who prefer not to ship eggs. To choose this option, select “Pickup” during checkout.
- We’ll contact you to schedule your pickup.
- Pickup takes place at our front gate, at an agreed-upon time.
- If you prefer to meet off-site, we are happy to arrange a public location for pickup instead.
- We provide complimentary boxes for you to transport your chicks home in, you are welcome to use your own.
Hatching Egg Disclaimer:
Hatching eggs are a natural product and carry inherent risk. Even under ideal conditions, not every egg will develop or hatch. Factors that may affect hatch rates include:

Chick Orders:
- Our chicks are sold unsexed, with a minimum order of 4 for local pickup and 8 for shipping.
- We operate on a preorder system, and orders are filled in the order they are received.
- Refunds and Cancellations: We do not issue refunds or cancellations for orders once they are placed. However, if we are unable to fulfill your order within the shipping year, we will issue a refund under those circumstances only.
- As the buyer you have every right of refusal before it leaves our hands. However, due to our NPIP status, birds cannot be returned to our property if you cannot keep them, this includes surrendered roosters. We are very proud of our NPIP status and follow the biosecurity guidelines provided by the USDA. We encourage you to protect your own flock and do your research before making purchases. There are many great breeders who value biosecurity, we will be happy to assist you in locating one.
Important Reminders:
- Set up your brooder ahead of time so your chicks can be placed in a warm, safe space with access to food and water as soon as they arrive.
- There is inherent risk in shipping live animals, including potential delays or rough handling by the carrier. Once chicks leave our farm, we are not liable for any shipping issues.
- We do not guarantee or offer refunds for live chick or hatching egg shipments due to factors outside our control.

We ship chicks on Mondays and Tuesdays only to ensure they arrive as quickly as possible. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Express.
Each order is carefully packed in an approved live chick shipping box lined with excelsior pads for safe footing. We include Gro-Gel for nutrition and two heat packs for warmth.
You will receive a tracking number on the day of shipment. We recommend contacting your post office in advance to inform them that you are expecting live chicks. The phone number you provide us for pickup will be on the outside of your box. It is your responsibility to provide a reliable phone number, as well as monitor your phone for calls pertaining to your order.
Pickup Responsibility:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up chicks from the post office within 2 hours of being notified of their arrival. Please plan accordingly.
Loss or DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy:
If a chick arrives deceased, take a clear photo of the chick and the box immediately upon opening and contact us right away. Failure to do so voids any refund or credit.
In the event of a loss during shipping (before arrival), we will issue either a refund or a credit toward replacement chicks. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and shipping will be charged again on any replacements.
Shipping is available only within the Continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or internationally.
