About Mauve Eggs:
This listing includes six (6) Mauve English Orpington hatching eggs. Mauve English Orpingtons are one of the most exciting color projects here at Our Little Roost, and developing this line has taken several years of planning.
Mauve was created by combining two of our breeding groups, Blue and Chocolate English Orpingtons. After producing the first generation of mauve females, those birds were bred back to chocolate to develop our mauve rooster. This season marks the first year we are offering eggs from a Mauve × Mauve breeding group, which is an exciting milestone! Even rarer than Mauve are Chocolate Splash, a color that Mauve can produce.
